T^his is a short doable hike to the shore through the forest that is beautiful. The hard part is finding the trailhead.

An easy and short trail from the start down to the ocean. Several signs along the way explaining the area and its significance giving a good perspective of the history of the island. Beautiful view of the bay, great for taking pictures.

This is an easy, short hike down to the ocean. There are placards here and there telling the history of this immediate area. Trail ends at a rocky point with good views.

This overlook and trail gives you a great perspective on the beauty of this island. There are some archeological features on the trail (more meaningful if you read a little American Samoan history before you arrive). The views across the bay and the tide pools in the cliffs below are world class.

We wanted a short hike for after church on Sunday. NPS says it is 0.4mi, but it felt like even less. Nice jungle walk on the way to the coast. Beautiful view of Vatia Village and Pola Island from the end, and tide pools! I did it in slippers no problem.

5 Thank Nash W
