Enjoyed viewing this lighthouse from a distance. It is on an island so you can't visit it. It is in good condition due to some recent work.

Nothing says New England better than a Lighthouse. We saw so many, but this one is beautiful. Make sure you walk around both sides to get great photos!

The trip to get to Egg Rock LIght was not easy for us because of rough seas. However, it was worth the trouble of getting there, because it is so unique. A must see for lighthouse lovers!

very small parking lot. we were in a line, one in one out, and committed, unless you can turn around on the narriw road in. short walk downhill to building, hard to see, not open to public. close quarters.

They say this is the ugliest lighthouse, but I enjoyed it's uniqueness. We saw it from a boat and there were seals playing all around the rocks at the base of the lighthouse.

I loved seeing all of the light houses around Acadia National Park. Egg Rock Light house was a favorite. Very interesting history, and very impressive structure.

This is a cool Lighthouse that we saw from a cruise. It is of unusual design with the light tower in the middle of the structure. It can only be accessed by boat.

This light house, visible from both the loop road in Acadia park, and from whale watch vessels, is what one expects from New England light houses. We were not able to get to the island, but is a beautiful sight.

Really neat little island and quaint lighthouse which is automatic now. There is no access to the island so you have to view it from the water - I highly recommend a cruise! We saw bald eagles and harbor seals at the island.
