And yes, there’s a tasting session immediately to follow. Together, the brewery tour and the beer tasting last for about 1.5 hours. Due to popular demand, we are not able to accommodate you for a tour without reservations. The tour was excellent. Mike led it and he was knowledgeable and friendly. I knew so little of the history of it before I went and I’ve been in SF for 20 years. The tastings at the end were also great - I hadn’t tasted...More

We’ve been on a few before. From microbreweries to Shepherd Neame. This was the best. Jarred was passionate about his beer. We had a few tasters before the tour. The beers are varied and tasty, without too much gas. Fabulous to see the old copper...More

If you like beer, or factory tours, this is a good choice. The tour itself is not very long but you’ll see some interesting things. There are plenty of beer tastings included and you’ll learn a lot about the history of the company.

This is a great tour! It was great to see where all the beer is made and the beautiful copper pots where the magic happens. There was plenty of time allotted for getting to taste a lot of the different beers that Anchor Brewing produces.

This is the best brewery tour I've been on, and I've done a number of them. You learn a lot about the history of the brewery, get to see different parts of the brewing process, and spend the final 30 minutes sampling different beers. It's...More

We had a guest with us who only spoke Chinese and the guides went out of their way to help translate all the technical terms and made everyone feel so comfortable. Plus great beer so I highly recommend this to anyone

I recall that the actual tour only lasts about an hour. There is a beer tasting afterward and people seemed to linger there.
