I've been attending musical events at the Fillmore for almost 50 years. Although the music has changed, the feeling inside this magical theater has not. The psychedelic vibes are palpable. I seen acts as diverse as Grateful Dead to X, Hot Tuna to jazz. The...More

Although there are apparently still events held here, there is no access except to an event. A shame that there is not at least some type of memorial to the fame of the place.

The Fillmore is my favorite because it's so small. Easy to get up front and get sucked in to the music.I'm in my 60s and have been there a lot. But,for the first time I felt hassled there. I had an expired driver's license with...More

Great venue. Easily reached from downtown via buss 38. Non-US citizens: you need a passport to get bar stamp. Drivers licence etc wont be enough and you will not be able to buy alcohol.

Just been here to see primal scream. Found it great venue and enjoyed the gig. Word of warming though don't walk past it for a drink. Very shady neighbour hood. Like a lot of San Francisco I guess

Great venue, a little high on drink prices, but in sf. thats what u get. DON"T EVER PARK, at the fillmore center garage. The security ARE the window breaking thieves. Take your chances on the street.

We go here frequently, lastly to see Patti Smith. The upstairs is full of history, with posters of bands since the 1960s adorning the walls. The sound is much better downstairs and there is no seating, unless you are handicapped or lucky enough to get...More

This is a beautiful venue, easily accessible by public transport, and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. It is across the street from Japantown which is also an interesting place to check out before a show. You are greeted by friendly staff who obviously love their...More

I would call them. There are 2 flights of stairs to get in. I think there is a ramp to the restroom. There are seats along the side of the first floor, usually reserved for someone (perhaps handicapped ) I fell like I've seen... More

There are seats along the perimeter of the ground floor. When I went, they had reserved signs on them. Once the show started, I needed to sit for a moment and no one gave me any trouble. There may also be limited seating on... More
