Well worth a visit

Not as many stalls as I expected but lovely local products. Plenty of food options to eat at. Was quite busy when we were there, with locals waiting to board ferry.

There is a good coffee shop in there and a ton of overpriced "specialty" stores. It's not a practical place to get lunch unless you are going to the food stands outside.

The Ferry Building Marketplace is very clean with many restaurants and shops. My favorite place there is the Ice Cream shop. The best part about this building is the location by the water. The pier is very clean with adiquite seating to enjoy the Bay.

Lots of shops and restaurants. Great marketplace with lots of local products and foodstuffs. Nice to stop in and pick up a bottle of wine, artisan cheeses, sourdough, etc. Peet's Coffee is there, of course, and nice to have an ice cream cone and admire the bay view on a bench. Always make a stop here when in town.

After seeing such good reviews we called in for a visit. There wasn't much to see in my opinion, limited selection of food options and a bit boring.

I had the honor of working in a law firm for a year located in the Ferry Building. I loved going here every day. A short walk from the Embarcadero BART stop, the Ferry Building has great offers artisan cheese, handmade ice cream, historic building, and beautiful Bay views.

There are a number of shops and restaurants, as well as high-end food retailers. On your way to a bay cruise or Pier 39, this is a good little mall to drop by, perhaps eat at. One of the meat retailers carries Japanese Wagyu at $150 a pound (and many premium USDA cuts), while the big wine store has golden... More

Love coming here. Great marketplace with everything from local produced honey to locally growen lavender. There are a number of food stalls, each different to the other. Something for everyone.

I've been here a few times and always found something to buy, even though I may have gone there just to meet someone for lunch, for example. The stores are diverse and the restaurants are very good (albeit a bit expensive; think of the rent!). This is also a great central meeting place as it is so visible.

A great selection of food and drink places all with their own unique charms. Worth going during the day as most of the shops shut around dinner time.
