This was one of my must sees in San Francisco and unfortunately was a huge let down. I love the 60s and 70s, the music, fashion and culture and really wish I would have been around to visit this area then. It's mainly a bunch...More

We spent two nights at Haight street and it was probably the best part of our SF stay. The GOlden gate park and also the GOlden gate bridge are nearby and street also offers wide range of cool shops and cafes. Definetely go there.

We were here in the afternoon and heard later that it would have been much better at night. Bars were playing 70's and 60's music and the place had a great hippy atmosphere.

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.

From SFO search shuttle services to the city. It's a shared taxi/van. Easy & convenient from the airport. If you're driving , use waze or maps. Otherwise take Uber or Lyft so easy, quick & efficient to anywhere in san Fran
