When you find yourself without something to do, try this. Go visit the submarine museum that is the USS Pampanito, a WWII sub at Pier 45. Tickets are not so cheap but the walk through the sub is really interesting. Good signage in it so...More

Nice WW II sub the the kids will enjoy. Takes about 1 hr but you can spend longer if you like. Close by is Scomas for lunch!

This is a great attraction, and one which both me and our 10 year old son enjoyed. The audio tour and description of the submarine was great, and this was backed up with ex submariners on board. Good value for money and worth a visit...More

I toured this sub on a weekday in December, 2017 and there was no one else in the sub. I followed the audio tour that comes with the $20 ticket (find a coupon in a local flyer and get $5 off, the flyers are everywhere)....More
