This visit was our farewell to SF as we continued south on CA 1. These are two hills in southern part of SF offering a spectacular city panorama. Although, SF has many of them, I point it out as the entire city can be seen on a clear day like we had that morning. The view stretches from the Pacific,... More

The parking very limited now so please be aware that the view of the city isn't as accessible to people with disabilities as it was before. Twin Peaks isn't what it used to be.

This place is good for a few pictures, the view San F is amazing. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge but just a little bit.

This was a surprising highlight of our recent trip to San Francisco. The views of the city and Bay Area from the peak are amazing. You definitely want to do this on a nice clear day. We went after sunset and the views were stunning... the photos don't do them justice. We did this on our last night, but it... More

Twin Peaks is simply the best way to see stunning views of San Francisco and get oriented to its neighborhoods. A visit there makes for a fine introduction to the city. Obviously incredible on a sunny day, but watching the fog roll in is amazing, as well.

The way to get there was reallly hard. There are a lot of uphill road, and the distance was quite long. So I want to recommend you not to visit here, instead go to great rooftop bar.

Gives a wholesome view of the beautiful city. Simply amazing. Would highly recommend watching the sunset here as it makes for great pictures. Can get windy, though.

This is a lovely place to gain a perspective of the San Francisco cityscape. Combine this with a visit to the Victorian houses known as the Painted Ladies.

You have to go to twin peaks when visiting San Francisco. I like to take my visitors there after we have seen a few sights. It is nice to point out some locations we already saw to give them some perspective on the city.
