Famous mostly for Alcatraz island and Golden Gate Bridge, this body of water offers also quite nice boat tours with plenty of opportunities for a nice photos of San Francisco skyline. The best one is sunset cruise for sure.

You must catch a ferry to truely get the most of your trip. I did it while the sun was setting and got some amazing pics of the sun setting over the bridge! You also get a great shot of Alcatraz

The San Francisco Bay is beautiful from shore at any location, but get the full effect, take a short bay cruise, preferably in the evening.

We took a sunset cruise through San Francisco Sailing Company. Best time ever! Never had been on a sailboat, but the captain kept us at ease and made the two hours go by fast.
