You really can't miss it from anywhere in SFO. When traveling, it is a must see. Highly recommended. Try Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39.

From Coit tom the ball park and anywhere you stop you have to enjoy the view! If there is something near the perfect day of a bloody mary and sea food while watching the boats on the bay I haven't seen it yet!

We had five days in SF. We came down to the Bay to look out on the Golden Gate Bridge etc. as we were doing all the touristy things we could. It's a beautiful, scenic area and of course houses Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf etc....More

Beautiful from the air or the ground, this is one of the places you need to see in your lifetime. I have seen it from both, it's very peaceful. Have walked around some parts and it is well worth it.

Great place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Also fun to people watch. The seals are often preached on the docks as well.

You can find everything you need here, gift shops, restaurants and street entertainment. Even the famous Seals make an entrance, it has a very happy atmosphere and gets very busy.

We took a cruise on the bay this summer and we were stunned by the sheer beauty of the water. It was such a calm and serene experience. Also so many great sights all around.
