On June 7, 1974, Steve Silver produced a small show in the back room of the Savoy Tivoli Restaurant in San Francisco. The show was to run for six weeks. That was over 37 years ago... Today, Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon has the distinguished title of "World's Longest Running Musical Revue." The show - a musical spoof known internationally for its extravagant costumes, outrageous hats, show-stopping numbers and hilarious puns of pop culture and political character - has been seen by over 5.5 Million people, including HRC Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall as well as some of Hollywood's biggest stars. "Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon," hailed as "a constant cascade of showstoppers" by the "San Francisco Chronicle", follows Snow White as she takes a fast-paced journey around the world in search of her "Prince Charming." Along the way she encounters a star-studded, ever-changing line-up of hilarious political and pop-culture characters including Donald and Melania Trump, Adele, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, President Barack & Michelle Obama, Hamilton, Bernie Sanders, Sia, Taylor Swift, Vladimir Putin, Chris Christie, Barbra Streisand, Miley Cyrus, Orange is the New Black, Empire’s Cookie, Oprah and the San Francisco Giants

This is the second time we've seen the show, and I'm sorry we waited so long! It's a very small theater, probably about the width of two Victorian homes; there is main floor seating and balcony seating. We were seated in the third row, which...More

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it exceeded my expectations. Very Funny political satire show, you don’t have to be American to find it funny. It’s told through song and dance. The singers, band and costumes were amazing. A top quality show, a...More

I absolutely love the Beach Blanket Babylon show. I've been twice now, and both times, I cried from laughing so hard. The actors are poised, talented, and witty. The orchestra is phenomenal. The satire, perfect. I'll be back again!

We had an amazing time watching the talented performers in this wildly entertaining show. It was a fun way to spend a late afternoon. We loved the wit and quick humor of the performers. The headpieces were just amazing. Lots of laughs to be had!

Since the early 1970s (older than many of its actors!), Beach Blanket Babylon still delivers satirical, “pungent” review of current events. Yet there are many traditional elements: consistently high-quality talent, great costumes, funny songs, and generates non-stop giggles and laughter. A tourist must-see and locals...More

Our concierge was able to get tickets, and a short taxi ride got us there early. Since it is cabaret seating, and first come, first serve, if you want to be up front, best to be in line outside about an hour before curtain. We...More

The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds

North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in

Yes, there are cheaper seats. We sat downstairs, about 20 feet from the stage, close enough! It's a small venue. In the front section, where the seats are like a cocktail lounge, with small, tables.
