You have to pay to park. We went there just to take photos of the San Francisco Bridge and they were awesome! Check the weather in advance. The fog had lifted in the afternoon so we got beautiful photos.

Lots of grass (not the smoking kind) - and a great spot for relaxing or picnicking after hiking the Bay Trail. Nice views (but not The Best) of the Golden Gate, and its close to the Presidio & the marina.

A great park to visit for views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The site is well worth a visit. Great for picnics.

Easy, flat walking area with great views of the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz island. Always a breeze off the bay so dress accordingly. Park at the Presidio or at the close by lot.

There's a nice beach, but it's generally cool with the bay winds. It's fairly busy, but there's lots of room. Great views of the city, Alcatraz, and the bridge.

The beach is a little dirty, it's not trainer friendly, there are dogs running loose and the water is a little murky ... but it doesn’t matter. You're not here to lie on the beach, you're here to get some great snaps of the golden...More

This long beach is mediocre for sand and swimming but has stunning views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Family style area good for sand play for kids; wading is a possibility too.Couple mile walk (under the bridge) to the much nicer Baker Beach.

Born and raised in SF, I rarely went swimming at Ocean Beach - rough waves, deadly undertow, and freezing cold. But Memorial Day 2018, I went to another SF beach - Crissy Field ! Calm, warm water, soft sand, sunny sky, mild wind. A great...More

If you're in the Bay and have time off this is a fantastic place to relax and catch some sun. Some beautiful statues on this route to admire as you walk along the bay with a fab view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
