Wonderful exhibit of Walt Disney's life. Very touching at the ending where you understand the enormous amount of creative contributions he brought to the entertainment industry. Beautiful grounds as well with spectacular view of the golden gate bridge.

This is a great tribute to the wonderful Walt Disney. His daughter respected his work and made a wonderful museum for all to see. This is definitely not a kids museum. Older kids may be fine. My friends and I had a terrific time. The exhibits covered his entire life up until his death. There are so many artifacts that... More

I loved the Walt Disney Family Museum! There was so much information about Walt Disney. We spent about 2 hours there, but it probably takes about 4 hours to see it all completely. In the lobby area, you can see all of Walt's awards, including all of his Oscars. The museum starts out with Walt's parents and his birth and... More

First let me just say this without reservation...This is NOT a kids museum or for little ones. This is a multi media display for adults and for people who are interested in the life of Walt Disney and how all his success came about. It's his life story and Mickey is just a tiny part of this tour. With that... More

You thought you new every thing about Walt Disney until you go to this gem. Save about 1 and 1/2 hours to see all the rooms.

First, I'm from Burbank. Second, this puppy should be in Burbank. But it's so good that if it could only be in SF, then so be it. But seriously, it's mostly a Burbank story once Snow White shows up. His family did good in making this museum. Really good. It's a fascinating journey from Walt's Irish heritage through the opening... More

This was the best visit of my trip to SF. I am a big disney fan and to have had the honor of visiting the Family Museum was amazing. I recommend this great place to all Disney fans, you will learn where Walt came from and how much he did in his life.

We visited with our Home School in November and were treated to a private tour and a special animation class where the students created their own animated film. This museum has sooooo much to see you must plan to spend at least 1/2 a day here. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and patient. A must see for any Disney fan.
