Since its' founding in 1995 Biscuits and Blues has made a home in the heart of San Francisco and has served hot biscuits and cool blues ever since. The venue is lucky to have some of the best Blues musicians in the world right here in the city, and has been honored time and time again as the Bay Area's #1 Blues club. For 20 years Biscuits and Blues has earned the respect of the Blues community and has been named America's #1 Blues nightclub by both the Blues Foundation and by the Bay Area Blues Society. Six nights a week Biscuits and Blues works to keep the blues alive with two shows a night. If it's Blues, they approve: Delta, Chicago, Texas, Boogie-woogie, Gospel, Old-time, Jazz, Brass and Soul. On any given night you'll find ribs on the grill, New Orleans-style Gumbo in the pot, and Creole Jambalaya hot off the pan. Biscuits and Blues also serves California wines, local microbrews and their signature selection of specialty cocktails from their full service bar.

Go for the awesome blues music AND the great southern-cooking cuisine. We ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer, gumbo, jambalaya and a basket of biscuits.......all wonderful taste delights. Nice wine selection. Excellent service. Live performance of blues & classic jazz music -- the group was very...More

Tonight we went to the South........ the fried chicken was amazing, crisp, moist, and plentiful. The jambalaya had just the right amount of spice. The key lime pie was average. What was amazing about the food is that the waitress served it and was very...More

This is a small, intimate venue with excellent music. We went twice during our 5 days in SF. Drinks are average price. Food isn’t great, but you don’t have to eat there. Two shows every night.

We very much enjoyed our experience. If you eat then the cost can be quite high but there does seem to be an option just to go and just listen to the live music.

We enjoyed the live music, but for three of us to pay about €50 a head for food that was quite poor...... I had the shrimp ceviche - never seen anything like it - and then crawfish etouffée, a stew comprising unidentifiable items, plus a...More

We went mostly for the live music and the band was great. The show was about 1 1/2 hours. There was a $20 for the show. We also had dinner which was very good.
