I decided to take an Uber here on one of my solo adventures. It was a wonderful experience even though I went a little later in the day. (The earlier you go the more flowers there are to see) I love photographing flowers and this place is amazing, they get deliveries of flowers from all over the world. The colors... More

This is an amazing place if you love flowers even if you go only to admire them. The huge number of vendors is impressive. The parking is $2.25. Open to individuals only after 10 am, when the wholesalers have done their shopping. Tip: the further you go in from the entrance the lower the prices, generally.

Like a little city of flowers, plants, and floral supply. My favorite place to just wander and dream about all the flower arrangements I want to make. Need to get there around 9-10 am to get the best selection. Collect business cards from stalls you like so you can pre-order your flowers.

Many vendors in one place. Most all sell retail at a little higher price, but still a good value for pots, containers, baskets, ribbon, flowers, tools and all supplies to make floral arrangements.

For anyone that loves crafting or has a child in a floral class this is a wonderful place to shop. The prices are fair and there is so much to see. they have so many options for live and cut plants. If you need it I am sure they have it. I highly recommend stopping in if you are going... More

Visiting a friend, we went to the flower market early in the morning. Of course there was the traditional fog and cool air but it started to get nicer as the morning wore on. We had a petit dejeuner at the corner cafe and headed in to look for flowers for a wedding. What a delight of smells and colors!... More

Loads of vendors with every flower imaginable. Orchids galore and every shade of cut flower you desire. Wreaths and succulents too. A sight to behold if you love flowers. Prices are reasonable too. Just love strolling through here.

There are about 50 different vendors. You will find cut flowers, greens, foliage plants, blooming plants, silk product and all floral supplies at wholesale prices and open the public. We got our daughters college graduation lei and some orchids there. There is a pay parking lot in the middle of the grounds; cost $2 for an hour; easy in and... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
