Your comprehensive drinking tour of San Francisco! The Bay area is home to some of the nation's best Microbreweries! On this 3-3.5 hour tour we take you around San Francisco, showing off the beer, the breweries and the beer gardens that make this city great! We take you from Chinatown to SOMA, the heart of the tech industry in San Francisco, through to the Mission district-where bicycles rule and hip kids are cool. When time allows, we cycle on to the Haight Ashbury district, which was once the hippie hang-out and still shows resemblance to the times of Peace and Love. The tour finishes with a scenic ride through the heart of the city. Tour includes the first pint of beer at the first brewery as well as bike and helmet rental. Tours run daily. Please call to confirm your space (as space is limited to 12 people). Tour meets at our headquarters at 719 Commercial St at 2pm.Cost: $75 per person

This was one of the best tours of our trip! Our guide was excellent and very informative of the ways and means of the city. We booked the tour to get to Alcatraz, but had a blast touring the city when we were done. It was a fairly flat ride and the breweries we visited were excellent with good food... More

I was over in San Francisco visiting my daughter back in October and we decided to give this a try. So glad we did! We visited 2 Breweries and 1 Beer Garden. Ample time for a brew and conversation at each one. Our Tour guide Ari was fabulous! Very informative and very delightful. There were 6 of us in our... More

Was really looking forward to this tour as the reviews were good but I feel the group that turned up was badly let down by the guide ( can't remember his name now). In fairness to the guy, he got us all set up on bikes and brought us to the bars, but that was it really. No interest in... More

We had people in our group that wanted to check out breweries and those that wanted to do a bike ride. This was a great combination of both. We got to see a lot of San Francisco's neighborhoods in an up-close-and-personal manner, and also got to spend some time at some great breweries. I would recommend this to anyone who... More

Fantastic time. We live local (San Jose) and spent 3 hours biking and sharing a couple beers with people from Germany, Australia and China. Great conversation shared over local craft brews. Our guide, from France was fantastic. She took us under the pyramid, past the ferry building, Bay Bridge, Embarcadero on our way to the Mission district. 3 breweries: one... More

What a great way to see the city. Ari was a fantastic guide. We started in Chinatown, rode past the Embarcadero and stopped at 21st Amendment. Try the Hell or High Watermelon beer on a hot day. Then on to SoMa and Local Brewing Co. We really liked both Nitro beers there. Walked our bikes thru Clarion Alley to view... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
