Some good architecture and nice outdoor cafes, but otherwise just tourist-oriented shopping. Pedestrian aspect is a plus as it is peaceful.

Very pricey bit of SF, can be snobby, can be welcoming. Shops here are tres tres and not for everyone. On a nice day, a stroll along, poking in where you choose, maybe a bite or something... Enjoy!

One of the oldest streets in San Fran with a colorful (red light) history. You will enjoy strolling along Maiden Lane and seeing some of the upscale shops.
