So many long time retailers have left Union Square as retail gets redefined for a new demographic that little Maiden Lane has been impacted. It remains a pretty place to stroll but only the Frank Lloyd Wright designed building is worth noting.

Some good architecture and nice outdoor cafes, but otherwise just tourist-oriented shopping. Pedestrian aspect is a plus as it is peaceful.

A pedestrian street just off Union Square with some shopping, food and drinks. Being away from traffic is a pleasure.

Although Maiden Lane has a relatively interesting history (being the red light district once upon time) today this small pedestrian lane is rather dull. Yes there are some designers stores, Marni and Channel etc, but there aren't that many and the street itself is pretty...More

Very pricey bit of SF, can be snobby, can be welcoming. Shops here are tres tres and not for everyone. On a nice day, a stroll along, poking in where you choose, maybe a bite or something... Enjoy!
