The Aquarium of the Bay on San Francisco's Pier 39 is focused on marine life in the bay and neighboring waters. There are two levels to this aquarium; visitor start their tour in the "Discover the Bay" exhibit on level 3, then take an elevator...More

We didn't, and still enjoyed it, but I see that children (of all ages) would love this place. You walk through aquarium tunnels with marine life around you including small sharks, see smaller tanks with different animals and a few land creatures as well. They...More

This was one option with our city pass. I wish we would've used it on the DeYoung museum instead. It's not bad, just very underwhelming. The otters were cute and the walk through tunnel was cool but that's about it. The California Academy of Science...More

My granddaughter loves aquariums, so we check this one out. The only exhibits worth seeing are the underwater tubes.and the otters. If you have smaller kids and young teens they will love the touch and feel section. Touching a stingray is so exciting for them,...More

The kids enjoyed the visit and we spent about 90-110 minutes there. It isn't that huge but still has decent amount of sea life to look at and touch. Used the city pass for our tickets.

This place is not so big but enough for discovering sea's life. The most important that with your visiting, they can have money to continue protect ocean.

I parked off site and walked (less than 5 minutes). Ended up being less than $10 which is probably the best/safest option.
