Our whole family loved this tour! We saw everything we'd hoped to see, and then some! The tour guide knew a lot about the city and the movies and television shows filmed there, and she led a fun and interesting tour perfectly synced with the clips shown on the bus. She even took a few detours so our 9 yr.... More

Took this tour today with a group of friends. No matter what your film genre preference, the tour--guided by Marie--had something for everyone. And even a movie buff and SF resident like myself was able to learn something I hadn't before known! The bus was comfy enough on a 75 degree day. There are bathroom breaks. It was suggested we... Recently did the movie tour, I believe the guide was Riley and he was great. This tour was a pleasant surprise and a lot of fun. The way it ties in movies filmed in San Francisco with the tour is creative genius. You actually watch clips of the movies on the bus while you drive by the actual place it... More

I found the movie tour of San Francisco to be a great way to see San Francisco and to be reminded of some great movies. I know my 'to be watched' list of movies has expanded as a result of the tour. Of course there is Mrs. Doubtfire and Star Trek IV ( where the original cast return to 80s... More

The other group cancelled before the tour so we got our own private tour! It was awesome to see where so many movies were filmed and see the sights of San Francisco at the same time. There were a few opportunities to get some great photos! Thank you!

Absolutely loved the movie tour. Would recommend it to anyone. Couldn't believe how many movies were made in SF and it was amazing to see where the filming was done. Thanks for making our trip.

Took my daughter on the Movie Tour; this was my second time and her first time on it. Though it was a thoroughly rainy day, the tour guide and driver were in great spirits! PROS: Appreciated all the SF neighborhoods that we see on the tour. Driver provided a steady ride, with enough time to take in each featured site.... More

Greetings: Thanks for your very thoughtful review. Great to hear that the driver and guide made the most of a rainy day and kept the tour in high spirits. At the same time, we're sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations the second time around, and we wanted to take a moment to address your concerns.... More

Fantastic!! Went on a tour last Sunday with Marie as the tour guide. Marie was super knowledgeable, funny and affable. The tour was entertaining from start to finish and was a great mix of movie scenes and incredible San Francisco sights. I would highly recommend the tour to locals and out-of-towners. And Bryan was a great bus driver - smooth... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
