Great concert venue as it is small (1000 seats) and not really a bad seat anywhere. It is a tent so bring a sweater if you're prone to being chilly! Full bar service and snack food is also available. The free shuttle service is a...More

Saw 4 wonderful concerts at Big Top Chautauqua this summer. It's a wonderful venue, with big names. Saw Oak Ridge Boys, Johnny Lang, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Emmy Lou Harris. There are many local shows, too, put on by the Blue Canvas Orchestra.

This will be our first visit to the Big Top & we're wondering about dinner beforehand. What kind of food is onsite? Do people picnic? If so, are the any good restaurants in Bayfield that provide box dinners?

You can't take food or beverages in. There are typical burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, and similar foods there. We usually eat before going in and then just have some popcorn and beer or pop on site. However... More
Is parking difficult or limited? Should we plan to take the shuttle?

Parking is quite easy and is free. But if you don't want to worry about driving, the shuttle is very convenient.
