The point is a place where the waters of both the Potomac and Shenandoah River meet. It is a great place for photo's and selfies with the beautiful backdrop. My husband and I were able to sit on the benches and watch the sunset here in early July and it was a beautiful moment. This is a must do when in Harpers Ferry - gorgeous view. I would across the bridge to see the trailheads of 3 trails together.

If you are in Harper's Ferry make sure you walk to the Point. It has a great view of the river and surrounding mountains.

A beautiful view of the river and Maryland Heights. Don't expect a panorama view as the Shenandoah River is obstructed. The Winchester and Potomac Bridge is located beside this area and is a cool old bridge.
