Some of the wax figures looked so much like real people! We used a coupon, so we had a good deal. You have to go up and down stairs.

I believe this is worth a visit. There are several stages of wax figures that progressively tell the story of John Brown's efforts to help slaves escape their bondage. This museum has been here since 1961 so don't expect any high tech here. But even that makes this an interesting visit.

Museum provides a good overview of John Brown and his raid. Wish the three videos were timed to make it easier to watch all three consecutively.

WOW! The amount of detail was absolutely amazing. There were many, many wax figures. The scenery and rooms they made up for the dioramas were very well done. Well worth the money.
