We went out to the mountains while waiting for our room to be ready. We knew there was road work, so we didn't expect to make the whole loop. The cottonwoods were beautiful! It was our first time seeing the canyon terrain, so that was...More

This is a wonderful trail by a jeep or better. I want to go again. It was very adventurous. We started out while it was raining and saw some waterfalls that are not normally there.

Road needs some work and some sections have some pretty tight quarters. You want to time the sunset so you are on the way down. Recommend going in from the highway 128 side.

Not any amenities in the road but as a lover of driving cars on new roads this was a joy for me. Did not meet a lot of traffic and the road was in a relatively decent state.

Hardly anyone on the loop. Fantastic scenery. Some roads a little rough. No facilities so be prepared. There is such different topography from beginning to end. Very worth the drive and not expensive. There is camping that is primitive so be well equipped. You will...More

This road was partly closed but what we did see was well worth the drive. Lovely views and very good to drive.

It was 109 degrees in Moab when we decided to take a drive up to the La Sal Mountains where the temps were 20 or more degree cooler. The roads were paved and gravel and Lake Owen was a hidden gem.

We camped at Warner Lake and started the drive to find the campground around 7:00 p.m. We didn't really know where we were going, but it was a gorgeous drive all the same. We welcomed the cooler temperatures as we climbed up, up, up. (It...More

I agree, a couple of hours should suffice for the drive, but we took our time exploring some of the lakes and camp sites, so took a bit longer. We drove through Castle Valley on the way back to Moab which is very... More
