We rode this road on the motorcycle and would definitely recommend it. They are currently repaving the road and there are two spots where it is still gravel, but well packed and drivable. Glorious views of the mountain, Moab, Arches and Cayonlands below and in...More

We started loop from 128, first driving through Castle Valley with green fields on one side and red rock on the other. Road narrowed and started to climb giving excellent panoramic views. It looks like the road is being repaired and there were two stretches...More

It is all just so Captivating. When visiting Moab, Utah plan at least 3 days, which is still never enough time. But a guarantee, you will return to pick up where you left off. Moab, Utah is just amazing!

If you have the time definitely do the Loop. It will be worth it. You can still get good pictures without doing it all.

This is a wonderful trail by a jeep or better. I want to go again. It was very adventurous. We started out while it was raining and saw some waterfalls that are not normally there.

Road needs some work and some sections have some pretty tight quarters. You want to time the sunset so you are on the way down. Recommend going in from the highway 128 side.

Hi. Sorry can't tell you, as we only drive thru. Mapmaterial isn't too good. We even got lost due to various roads not marked on map. And we always orient ourselves by map and don't rely on GPS. Maybe best to check with Moab... More

I am a little confused about the closure. Obviously during the construction, this is not a loop. I guess it is in an and back out the same way, Where is the best place to enter to get the most out of the available scenic... More
