There wasn't a single time during the hike where the scenery was bad. It was a pretty easy hike. There were 2 spots at the beginning and 1 near the end that were steep but overall, it was just really enjoyable. The arch is gorgeous...More

If you're visiting or passing through Moab, take the time to visit Corona Arch. It's not in the national parks so it won't cost you a cent. Located 10 miles west of town (get snacks and water before you leave town), drive south on Hwy...More

My wife and I had spent most of the week exploring Arches, Canyonlads and Capital Reef. We wanted to do something a little different and found a book in our condo that referenced other places to hike in and around Moab. After reading trail descriptions...More

Face it: Moab and the Parks have become overwhelmed by visitors. It's madness. But this little gem is really neat, and not that hard to get to. Unless you like waiting for a parking space, or sharing a crowded path, get out there early of...More

Dirt and slickrock trail located on scenic UT279...10 miles off of US191 (Potash Road). Drive with care; lots of bicyclists and rock climbers along the way. At the trailhead, there’s two large parking areas and pit toilets. Trail is well marked with cairns, but don’t...More

Great hike from easy to find trailhead to Corona Arch. An easy to moderate hike. Many people had their dogs which was nice. Great payoff at the end with a beautiful arch.

Yes, it's paved. The trailhead parking lot is dirt, but it's right off the road which is paved. It's a really easy drive from downtown Moab or from Arches NP.

Hi My answer would be it depends. There are a couple places where you need to step up using a cable. It is a very short step up. If you regularly hike with a baby, I would think you would be ok.
