Short fun hike and great place to stretch your legs

Fun place to let the kids out and run up the hill to check this out. It is a short hike.. a little steep but very doable.

Definitely a stop on the way into Moab from Durango, CO. Take time to pull over and hike to the entrance of the arch. There are some steep areas and the rock can be slippery though. Wear good shoes. The view from the top is amazing.

Wilson's Arch is very clearly visible while driving South on US Rte 191. Many people were stopped in the pull-offs looking in awe at the beautiful sandstone arch.

After driving the wide-open spaces of Utah canyon country, Wilson Arch is a great spot for a short hike. The arch is plainly visible from the highway, but enjoyed much more after the short hike from the parking area. The only reason that I rated this with 4 stars instead od 5 stars is that there is only the one... More

Located directly alongside U.S. Route 191 and if you have 30 minutes to spare take the not too steep climb to the arch. Very impressive arch, nice views and you don't have to pay any entrance fee. Nice foto and filming location. Enough parking space is available.

We loved getting out to stretch our legs and climbing up to the arch for an incredible view and great photo opportunities.

Easy to see big arch along US Route 191. Very easy to find with a parking to take a pic. Nice other geological wonder on this route.

It's worth a stop to see this arch. It makes for great photos without the long hikes inside the park.

A prelude to Arches, but worthy on it's own. Take a look from the car or hike up to it. Beautiful. And don't forget to see Church Rock, same side of Rte 191, about 8 miles south. Convenient, safe pull out on the shoulder.

Thank Frederick G
