It might be the Ritz, but it isn't up to par

Very nice place with super comfortable bed, and is a well situated place to stay when visiting northern Virginia. Hotel provides free shuttles to the Tyson's Corner Shopping mall, and its television can access YouTube and Netflix. Only noticeable shortcoming is its poor soundproofing; whenever people next door opens & closes their door, it is one loud sound. Moreover, I... More

I am a local; my usual spa is Bliss at the W downtown. I am there for various services about twice a month. With the inauguration and wanting to have a body exfoliating service, I decided to try this spa. Overall, the service was great but the environment was not. I had the 80 minute head-to-toe hydration service. It starts... More

Very nice hotel, but not sure why anyone would stay there other than for business. It's surrounded by shopping malls and office buildings.

Not the best spa in Washington DC. I would say that belongs to the Mandarin Oriental. But if you can find a discount or just want to splurge, you can't go wrong here. The staff is outstanding.

I was recently travelling to DC for school with a group of friends and we tried without avail to make appointments at the hotel spa. I called a month in advance and had little luck in working with the staff to secure services. I don't know how they remain in business, they have know idea what customer service means. The... More

We decided to have a spa weekend to relax from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our spa services were nice. Massage therapists were good, and manicures/pedicures were nice as well. I agree with all the other folks (the flow of the spa could be improved on). The relaxation room could be re-designed to allow for a better... More

I am a massage therapist at a 4 star resort so I routinely check out other high-end spas to see if I can learn something. I had an 80 minute therapeutic massage with Bonnie at 2pm on Tuesday, October 13th. Upon leaving, the front desk asked my opinion and while I tried to brush off the negative experience, they asked... I really enjoyed the services by Fariba (mani-pedi) and the massage by Amber! It was not crowded on Black Friday--guess everyone else was out shopping in the Galleria. They were very attentive and each gave a great service. However, I would have to agree with the other comments about the 'relaxation' area where you wait. Very small area and you... More

Another gift for my birthday spent at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner Spa; the primary beauty of the spa is the exceptional service I received from Betty, Esthetician and Kelly, Spa Director. Betty and Kelly went over and above to make my birthday experience quite memorable; however, I must share Kelly's other staff does not possess the same qualities as... More

We had an excellent stay at this Ritz. We enjoyed the Spa and the saltwater pool. It's convenient if you want to enjoy some shopping at Niemanns and Nordies etc and now there's a convenient metro station (we didn't use it but were impressed). We took our children to the pool and the lifeguard approached us and introduced herself. She... More
