Although of historical importance it really isn't worth stopping for, just along from Joanie's crab house you can walk down the road to visit this site.

Incredible place. Very historic and apparently the smallest Post Office in the US. Still very operational. Located on the roadside of US 41; the Tamiami Trail. It is not well sign-posted, so it is easy to miss. Which would be a real shame.

Smallest Post Office in the USA. The postal worker is VERY friendly. You can get a 'smallest post office' post card with stamp and cancelled stamp for $1 and send it out to family and friends. Just a neat stop to visit.

If you are interested in the postal service or unique buildings make a stop at this post office. Many people stop just to make photos and some send cards just for the postmark.

Such a cute little post office, mailed a postcard there and it was received within 3 business days. The mailman there was very courteous and always had a smile on his face. If you like things small and unusual, take a quick break from your drive and check it out!

There is literally not much to see here. The claim to fame of this little building is that it is the nation's smallest U.S. Post Office. Believe it or not, there is actually a member of the U.S. Postal Service inside selling stamps, mailing letters, and doing all the normal post office stuff. It's worth a quick stop just to... More

This is a must! Stop and see the smallest post office. If you drive by too fast you might miss it. Also be sure to check the hours as they are limited. Don't forget to send a postcard. Great tourist stop!

A fun and super easy stop on the cross-state road, the world's smallest post office has an informational sign and a working shack. When I visited, it was closed despite the hours posted sign indicating it should be open. I wasn't going to buy any stamps, so that wasn't a big concern. Visit the Skunk Ape Research Center and talk... More

I was delighted to learn about this Post Office. I always have appreciated the services of the U.S. Postal Service. The wonderful people at Wooten's informed us of this place when I had inquired about a post card. This post office is the smallest post office in the USA!

This was really just an impulse stop during our Florida road trip. We were driving through the Everglades/Big Cypress National Preserve on the Tamiami Trail (route 41) and knew we had to stop. We thought it would be neat to be able to say we went to the smallest post office in the country. It really didn't disappoint! It was... More
