Our day-after-Christmas tour of Asheville was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Although I had visited Asheville over a hundred times before (we have close relatives there), I had never taken a guided tour of the city. My wife talked me into it, reminding me that there are always interesting things to learn about any city, even... More

Our tour guide and driver, Matt, is an Asheville native, and regaled all of his passengers with humorous stories and anecdotes about past Asheville residents, visitors, and events. In addition, he handled with dignity some difficult events that had taken place in the Asheville area. Most of all, he tied Asheville's past to its present through its architecture, neighborhoods, forests,... More

Our guide Michael was energetic, enthusiastic and a great storyteller! Best of all, he put all the pieces together as he described the history, architecture and places to come back to on our own. Love idea that we can ride a 2nd day. Trolley was warm even though we rode on a brisk day.

We were unsure whether we should take Trolly tours because Asheville is such a small town. We are so glad we did. The two guides Matt and another man gave us so much local information, history and local gossipy stories that we never would have heard about. The town has unusual architecture and NC has a completely different type of... More

The Trolley Tour is a Hop On, Hop Off Red trolley. There are ten stops for local sights or one hour, 45 minute tour of the city. Trolley drivers provided a running diagolue of Asheville's sights and history. Big Shout Out to "Uncle Ted" and Roger (drivers) for their outstanding tour. The Trolley is the best way to see a... I am really glad we did the trolly tour! It was well worth the money. We had 4 different guides and learned something new each time about the beautiful city of Asheville.

Outstanding tour. Informative, fun, festive, great singing with Bill Birely, included flashlights and song sheets, Uncle Ted, driver and narrator was outstanding, funny, and most interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even Asheville residents.

Great evening tour with Uncle Ted, and Bill on guitar last night!! We sang, heard ghost stories, wonderful Christmas stories from history, saw terrific lights--about 75 minutes--left from Biltmore Village. Suggest calling Grayline in advance to get tickets as they do sell out for these tours. This was fun and informative, different than their regular tours. They provided song sheets,... More

Arrived in Ashville and we were scheduled for a bus tour within an hour or so of arrival. Because of the large number of our group, we were given a specific tour and the opportunity to come back the next day to take our time and enjoy the time to revisit, hop on and hop off of the trolly and... We had a group of 26 so we were able to rent the trolley. They came to pick us up, helped us load senior citizens, and were always prompt and courteous. A delightful evening!
