Great security staff. They need a recommendation. Terrible management. Led me astray on seating. I called management a month and a half in advance because I was not sure which seats to choose. She told me the section and row to get and that there...More

The entire US Cellular/Thomas Wolfe venue is old, and it's starting to show. The ceiling was cracking up by the stage in the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, and all the colors of the decor throughout the entire arena and auditorium are very outdated. Other than that...More

Great shows and events come through the Asheville Civic Center, but as a resident of the Asheville area - I am ashamed to see how old and run down this wonderful auditorium is. Time for the city to invest some dollars in bringing this center...More

The civic center has two parts--a multi-purpose arena and an auditorium. The civic center parking isn't too far away but the major problem is that on event nights, the cash takers are buried in their cell phones or talking with each other. Plan on up...More

Horrible venue for concert. The Celtic Women were wonderful entertainers and their music was beautiful. However the acoustics were terrible! The bass overpowered the sweet voices of the Women. And the audience talked, ate and used their phones for taping and photography. On the plus...More

I've gone to a few events at this location and it's pretty alright. The building could use some updating and they could manage the crowds a little better. When I went to the craft fair, it was over packed. Once you got into the building,...More

I've been here a few times for games but this was my first concert experience here. Acoustics are nice and the staff is very friendly and professional. One thing I found interesting was that you have to buy an arm band ($2) before you can...More

This sad building was built in the wrong place. There is only parking in one stinking (if you get my drift) parking deck. The facility is run down and ugly. It should have been replaced years ago.

Yes. I brought my regular size purse in and there were no issues. Security looks in it before you go inside.
