The center provides a good overview of Asheville and the surrounding area. It has lots of brochures and is a convenient place to get tickets to events and activities such as trolley rides.

In addition to the vast number of flyers and handouts this visitor center had very pleasant and knowledgeable customer service staff who were helpful and friendly.

Good place to start your visit to Asheville. Friendly people. Loads of information available. Gift shop. The day we were there, a chef and staff were there handling out samples of the food. I believe it might have been one of the Biltmore dining options.

This place is impressive. Lots of helpful volunteers. Tons of brochures. You can buy trolley tickets here, I bought mine online with a promo code and saved 10%. There is also a AAA discount. Great visitor's center.

You will find several recommendations about hotels/motels to stay at in the area with some discounts, but I don't think they give any specific recommendations because they can't show favoritism to any particular hotel/motel... More
