This is a very charming building, well worth walking through to get a taste of the architecture. Inside are some nice shops and a bookstore. It takes only ten minutes to walk through, but it's well worth the visit since this is a town with lots of lovely period architecture to behold and savor.

It's wonderful that Asheville has taken this old building and re-purposed it with several shops and eateries. The old architecture is very beautiful.

We walked by a number of mildly interesting looking shops before visiting Mission at the Grove, where we bought one of an extensive selection of Tiffany/prairie lamps.

The building is gorgeous and offers lots of great shopping. Great place to duck into and enjoy getting out of the cold.

The Goddess Shop is one of the most beautiful shops in town. It does open my inner Goddess. Thank you!

I stepped into the Grove Arcade while walking the Urban Trail. I went in when it opened at 8 am before the stores were open and enjoyed seeing it when it was mostly empty of people. The history and architecture and Christmas decorations are worth seeing. It was fun just to window shop as I read that most of the... More

Stopped into Grove Arcade to see the display of Gingerbread houses. Was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Shops were little boutiques I personally wouldn't shop at.

Small shops, but friendly people. No major stores, just all, small, local shops. Fun to walk through.

This is a quick walk-through with a great European holiday feel when decorated like it is now for the holidays. There are some nice stores there, but mostly upper-end boutique stores. But it is worth it just to enjoy this unique & beautiful building.

This is a quaint shopping area with a variety of neat stores. There are book stores with a champagne bar, jewelry stores, handmade items, and a variety of other stores. Very interesting to check out.
