The largest & oldest running ghost tour in Asheville! Designed by Joshua P. Warren, author of HAUNTED ASHEVILLE, we offer five different paranormal tours, & we are the ONLY tour that takes you inside the "Asheville Mystery Museum" in the basement of the Masonic Lodge! On your tour, we use digital tabs and lasers to explore Asheville's dark history, the Brown Mountain Lights, and our region's most ominous spooks and specters. See why we've always been #1!

Even if you don't beleive in ghosts I recommend this tour. It is definitely worth taking just to learn the local history. The guide, Brian, was friendly, knowledgeable and a great story teller. I also loved listening to him describe the architecture of the buildings...More

Was a great tour! Tad was great..would recommend it. Museum tour at the end didn't match the authenticity of the tour.

Our guide Tad, did a great job of layering the context of Asheville history with the events he spoke about during the tour. If you like haunted house surprises with special effects, this is not your tour. However, if you have an interest in local...More

This was the best ghost tour I've ever taken! The guide was very knowledgeable and told the stories in a straightforward non-theatrical way... kind of a "draw your own conclusions" way. Along with the tales of hauntings, he gave us lots of general history, which...More

I did this same tour a few years back and it was so much better. There were a lot more stories not just 3. The focus now seems to be on the museum which is well a tad bit cheesy and less "artefacts."

The City of Asheville does not allow one to walk down the street with an open container of alcohol.

Yes, it is a walking tour, but the pace is quite gentle and easy. Mid October in Asheville would mean jeans and a jacket, as the tour begins in the evening, but be sure to check the weather first.
