I saw "The Producers" there and was very surprised at the quality of the cast, sound, and entire production. You will enjoy a play here if you enjoy the arts.

Recently saw Sweeney Todd production. Costumes and sets were awesome and the performers were very talented and professional. With the coming renovations for better seating, this will be a great place to visit.

ACT has a long tradition and produces very decent caliber shows. I've been to several productions and was never disappointed.

Sondheim's witty lyrics, gorgeous musical arrangements, and perceptive exposure of human natures both innocent and corrupt are all on display in Sweeney. Of four productions I have seen of Sweeney Todd, including the movie with Johnny Depp, this was by far the best. The music, often difficult, was... More

Every play that I see at ACT I feel that I am watching an Off Broadway production. Most of the actors are local and make us proud. Thanks to the Directors and the Actors for making Asheville a better place to enjoy the Arts.

It's certainly dramatically more challenging than the usual musical theatre fare and light comedies that are the... More
