I've been attending shows at ACT since 2012, and they absolutely never disappoint. The kid shows by themselves are more than worth the ticket price. In one memorable show (Bye Bye Birdie), we were pleasantly surprised to see two girls do an a capella song....More

I've seen many shows at ACT and each one has been excellent. Community theater sometimes gets bad rap but the ACT is professional level and now that they've renovated their theatre the experience is even more satisfying. Asheville is such a center for the arts...More

Thoroughly enjoyed production of The Producers. Community Theater at it's best. The new seating is comfortable and the sound system made this a great musical. Would highly recommend.

This community theater has existed since 1946, with Charlton Heston being its first director. Renovations have just been completed, including new seating and...More

As a disclaimer I should note that I have performed with ACT in the past. That being said, I am not an easy audience member. ACT's current production "The Producers" is amazing! Very high energy from start to finish. Great theatre at the highest level....More

ACT has been around a long time. When I was in my early 40s I spent one or two terms on their Board of Directors. It's always challenging being part of an organization that lives or dies based on the support of Individuals (theater-goers) and...More
