We enjoyed strolling through this old Woolworth's (and the smaller shop, which was more enjoyable shopping), as we toured downtown Asheville. We always look for a local photographer's or artist's work of the place we are visiting, to add to a wall of framed works...More

What a great surprise! So many artists and great works. Loved the variety, liked that it was similar to a craft fair, but inside. I will go back often.

Was strolling on the street of downtown Ashville and saw the Woolworth's sign, a flash back of my youth. Very interesting eclectic art, photography and jewelry from a variety of vendors. They also still use the Woolworth soda fountain

There is a large selection of local artists' efforts. Paintings, photography, pottery, clothing, tiles, glassware, etc.Spent 45 minutes walking around. There is also an original Woolworth soda fountain with sandwiches and ice cream creations.

Two floors of the old store are now booths with local art displayed for sale and just plain fun. All the art is easy to view as they have the booths spaced very well. Something for every taste here.
