My wife and I went for an anniversary date. We loved it with one exception, there were 11 people in our group, my wife and I ended up with me in a chair and her on the floor beside me. Would have been nice to have been either side by side in a chair or side by side on the... More

Can't say if the salt cave will benefit me at all, probably something you need to do regularly to see any benefit. The cave is kept at a cool temperature so wear a sweatshirt, they give blankets but they are pretty thin. There are several chairs which appeared comfortable but didn't have enough for the group. I ended up lying... More

thumping of the cars overhead in parking lot and people talking spoiled what would have been a nice atmosphere for me.

Thank you for your feedback. When life gives you lemons you make lemonade… when life gives you a parking deck you make them salt carts! Unfortunately it is not ideal situation, but we work with it. More

Once you walk in they have hot tea bags and you have a selection of loose tea to put in it. They also have water. The salt room was very relaxing and they have salt rocks you can put on your body also.

After my first visit to the Asheville Salt Cave, I'd been looking forward to getting back there. It took longer to get back than I intended but I made it my first stop on this trip. It was such an amazing way to start the trip. From the minute you enter, you are invited to water or tea and the... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed individual 90 minute massages followed by a 45 minute session in the salt cave. We enjoyed every second! The staff were really skilled, attentive, professional and gentle. The pricing was great: we got way more for our money than at nearby luxury spas. We'll definitely be back!

I'm so glad that this place exists. When you go, do not expect a natural cave. It is located on the side of a parking garage on Eagle Street - if you didn't know it was there you may completely miss it. It is more like a small yoga studio with the room completely covered in salt from floor to... More

Perhaps naively I thought this was going to be a natural attraction, which is why I was surprised it was in the downtown area. Also the photos are strategically taken to make the room (not cave) look significantly larger than it is. However it was relaxing and indeed an experience.

We stopped in for a little shopping. Everyone was reasonably priced with some interesting options but staff was not very friendly. Would not visit again.
