Historically this church is significant to the community and a beauty. Inside, the stained glass and alcoves beautiful. The church however does not have an inclusive feel - sadly - and I left feeling distraught over the messages and propaganda plastered where messages of peace,...More

Although it is small by today's standards, this church has a very peaceful atmosphere with gorgeous stained glass.

Built by the same architect who constructed Biltmore. We were told that the dome was the largest free-standing one in the US. A beautiful and peaceful stop.

When we visit a new city, I tend to be drawn to the old churches in the area. This was jumped out in front of me. I love the design. I wish I had more time as we were quick to head to dinner

BEAUTIFUL INSIDE in every way, unless you are the devil! Some free parking immediately adjacent to building. Additional parking directly across the street. Visit the Basilica's website for more background info about the gorgeous architecture.
