The most beautiful Catholic Church in the south.

This beautiful church is in downtown Asheville and is breathtaking. Worth a trip to Asheville. It has services daily.

I love visiting the gorgeous Basilica of Saint Lawrence every time I walk downtown. It is so peaceful and quiet; one of the best places to go and think or get away from it all. Definitely stop by and check out this wonderful piece of history....just be quiet!

Beautiful architecture, interesting history, and a religious gem. Pop in to see it, or stay a while to take it all on.

The basilica is oval shaped and has many interesting architectural features. My friends and I spent about 40 minutes here.

The Basilica is a nice surprise tucked away in Asheville. This lovely older church is somewhat reminiscent of European Cathedrals. The Basilica is within easy walking distance from several parking areas.

I attended a presentation by a local choir at St. Lawrence some years ago and am still impressed by the architecture and history.

Really great old church ad well worth the time. Gorgeous inside and there was a person there when we visited who was very knowledgeable and could tell us about the history.
