Rainy day activity

Good for kids between 2 and 7 years old. Could maybe spend 3 hours there. We liked the Smokey the Bear exhibit.

A fun educational experience for younger children. Through hands-on opportunities, kids learn the importance of healthy habits and what they can do to achieve them.

Somehow I missed that this is really for kids only. In fast, they will not allow entry to adults without children. The Health Adventure website doesn't really give that vibe; it seems to give more of the vibe that this is great educational fun for everyone. We (childless couple) were stuck in Asheville on a rainy day looking for something... More

It has been awhile since I visited here, but I remember thoroughly enjoying the hand-on exhibits and all the education regarding the body. School children often visit here. Well worth the time of a tourist family.

We visited the Health Adventure to supplement a school study of the human body. The staff there was very helpful and we loved the fact that the museum is connected to the mall - we grabbed a quick lunch at Chic Fil A and then returned to the museum for further play time. Our children are 9 and 11, and... More

This museum is fun for the entire family, and the location is so convenient. The exhibits seems to change frequently, as every time we have visited there is something new. Highly recommend, especially if you have young kids.

We just received our membership in July & love it! Our three year old asks to come once a week. The exhibits are always changing & keeps learning fun.
