I am not a fan of baseball but my friend wanted to go on the tour. Our tour guide was great. Very informative and seemed to be very excited about working at Fenway park. He was very knowledgable about all of the historic facts and allowed us time to look at things we were interested in as well as taking time to answer questions. We were lucky enough to watch the groundscrew remove the rain covering from in field -- a feat done in about 3 minutes or so. Cons: We did not get to see the "inside" or the "guts" of the stadium and how things work behind the scenes. Would have been nice to see the dugouts up close and the locker rooms as well.

Great one hour tour of historic Fenway Park. The guides clearly love baseball and sharing the Red Sox history with visitors. Got to hear stories about the "Green Monster", Babe Ruth, and the Ted Williams "Red Seat". The whole family will love this tour and chance to see the ball park.

All things considered, I'd rather have had a tour of Forbes Field. For all of its history, Fenway is crowded, without much parking, and OLD. I enjoyed walking around what I can see from the field, but anticipated...given the cost... a more inclusive tour, The tour guide did make one error which she refused to admit when she stated that Fenway had the deepest outfield of any stadium, even though it is Comerica field in Detroit that is 440 feet to right-center, rather than the 420 posted at Fenway's right-center.

Even in "cheap seats," and occasional rainy weather, the Park is an incredible place. Fenway is small by most standards (capacity 38,000), but the size is a plus! Excitement echoes from every seat. The Green Monster looks at every fan. The architectural pearls of Boston's skyline rise above the park's walls. A real piece of Boston history and Boston fun!
