Neighbourhood: Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Okay, this is a beautiful church. I'm glad I saw it, but I have to share some information.
The entrance fee is $10, and all the admission pays for is the chapel.
The chapel is gorgeous! I love architecture, and I sat and absorbed the space for 20 minutes. The fee was worth it for me, but everyone has to decide what $10 is worth.
The outside is just as stunning as the inside, so buyer beware.

I visited the Trinity Church in November 2021. It was a quick visit. I had also visited here in 2018 and wrote a review. I arrived at the church at 12:15 pm on a Sunday. Mass was just ending and the people were leaving. Normally you have to pay a $10 admission fee and there are also guided tours. I was able to go in quickly for free and look at the altar, organ and stained glass. I spent only 10 minutes there on this visit because I was pressed for time. I think next time it may be worth taking a guided tour.

This magnificent Church stands on Copley Square across the beautiful Boston public Library (read that review).
The Church dates back to 19 c, has an imposing exterior, but the interiors are far more beautiful with amazing stained glass and organs.
They charge for entrance, but they allowed me a quick free visit for a prayer.

Absolutely fabulous church seems to be a guest from a fairytale. Great to walk around, great to visit inside (note that you may not be permitted to take photos during a service). Your visit to Boston doesn’t count if you haven’t seen at least exterior of this gem.

This Episcopal church was built by Henry Hobson Richardson in 1877. Not everyone likes Richardsonian architecture but if you do, you have to visit this place. It is located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston in Copley Square.
Stepping into the main body of the church is a WOW factor! You're overcome by the sight of the mural-covered walls and the stained glass windows. Some of the windows were created by John LaFarge.

Trinty churh is beautiful. Also there's loads of interesting very nearby. For example, the Boston Public Library is across the street. If possible catch a performance including Trinity Church' s super cool pipe organ.

Incredibly church; the architecture is amazing.
Even though we weren't able to get in because of Covid restrictions, the building itself was outstanding. Located in Copley Square, it is such an iconic image in the Boston landscape. I did see some questionable people walking around and parking is complicated, but it's definitely worth a visit. So beautiful!

Sunday morning, my wife and I attended their outdoor mass. Once the mass concluded we were able to visit the inside of the church and it was simple beautiful. The entire church grounds were priceless. There are many churches in Boston to visit but the Trinity Church was just simply special.

I had to rush in, as they close at 4:30, but it was worth the rush and the $10. Beautiful church. I was lucky that the organist was rehearsing while I was there: lovely way to tour an old church. The plaza out front is also worth visiting.

Really gorgeous, peaceful, historical church in the heart of Boston. Come, sit, and take in the serenity and peace of this church; you won't be hassled or interrupted. The choir is superb and deserves its wonderful reputation.

I'm reading in some reviews that Trinity Church is closed for renovations, but I don't see that on their website. Is it still open for visiting? Thank you!
Written 15 October 2018
There was no sign of any renovations taking place When we visited in August this year. To be absolutely sure, your best bet is to ring the church. If you are definitely going to Boston you may still want to visit Copley Square and see where the finishing line for the Boston Marathon!
