Fascinating place but probably would have been a better day trip, not overnite... flies/loud planes.

Took MBTA ferry from Hingham ( parking is $4) to Georges Island and Fort Warren. Modest visitor's center. Continued on the Boston Long Wharf and back to Hingham. Nice Scenery.
