A walking tour of Boston's South End establishments with chocolate related treats. Stops including a bakery with a huge Oreo inspired cookie, a tea shop for chocolate tea and a restaurant/bar with an 'adult' chocolate beverage. The guide (Victoria) was helpful and provided behind the scenes insights on the places we visited. My wife and I enjoyed the treats and... More

I did both tours with Boston Chocolate Tours (Back Bay and South End) and thoroughly enjoyed them both. It was a unique way to experience the city. Victoria was an excellent guide, providing funny commentary along with lots of info about chocolate. All of the treats we sampled were excellent. And the tour introduced me to a few new favorite... You're not going to learn much about Boston, the locations you go to or even chocolate. You'll get a series of samples that are a far cry from being worth the price of the tour and spend most of the time walking in silence or hearing your guide (at least if you're unlucky enough to have Victoria) prattle on to... Our guide Howard was sluggish, uninformative and lacked enthusiasm! Offered a minimum of knowledge of the area. Yes, the cupcakes were tasty but we expected more than walking and receiving a cupcake at the designated shops. He offered some information about the bakers but very little about the areas. He really appeared to have little knowledge . Also no one... More

We were visiting from Australia as a family group of 7, and my sister, 10 year old son & I did the South End Walking Tour one afternoon. My son was a ring-in as my mum decided not to do it, we were worried he would get bored, but he loved it, what 10 year old boy doesn't like chocolate... More

Victoria ( our guide) was knowledgeable and fun. Chocolate stops ranged from elegant and pricey to basic and cheap. You will not go hungry!

I bought tickets off Goldstar for my sister and I, so we didn't pay the website's listed price but even then the chocolate/$$ ratio was rather disappointing. The bag we were given in the beginning was almost completely unnecessary except that it held both a snack size bag of pretzels and a tip envelop ;) Victoria was very friendly and... More

Fabulous & Fun!! Our tour guide, Victoria(?), was a lot of fun and interesting. We started at The Four Bakery. We were a few minutes early so we grabbed a expresso & ginger/lemon scone.. The scone was delicious. I wile return to the Four Bakery! Our tour started at the Flour Bakery with a chocolate chip cookie. It was yummy!!... More

I took the Back Bay tour in October of 2014 and it was fantastic! I had no idea what to expect of the tour and I was very pleased with the tour. The tour consisted of around seven or eight different stores, and the chocolate items arranged from a chocolate chip cookie to chocolate ice cream to many types of... More
