Fun time

This was a last minute decision and we were so happy we went. The place house was smaller than expected but it was kind of nice to be up close to the performers. Lots of laughs!

In Boston from out of town and had read online about this being the longest running play in history so we bought tickets online for the Sunday afternoon performance. Was a little worried that it might be dated or hokey because of how long it has been playing, but my fears were unfounded as I found it to be witty... More

Found it uplifting and very funny. Alot of laugh out loud funny. Definitely a show worth seeing. We went to a 5:00 show and was home in new Hampshire for the patriots playoff game. Our daughter gave this to us a a Christmas present for a date night. Very appreciated

Half of our group of six had been to this show before, but loved it just the same. Those of us here for the first time loved it. We all left the show in a great mood and full of laughter! It's a great time, and I think we will go again to see the way it evolves!

The show was funny, interactive and reminded me how much I missed going to shows like these, especially the improv type. Incorporating recent events was excellent and that is what I appreciated about it most. It was a great night of guessing who'd done it!

Really enjoyed the performance - very funny, great actors, lots of audience interaction. The theater is small and very intimate, there is a bar available and the venue has small tables.

I had been to Shear Madness back in the 90's and remembered it as being fun. We took our kids (12 & 14) to a Sunday matinee and we all loved it. I had fallen into the belief that this was a show mainly for tourists and that it might be rather tired after all these years. The opposite it... More

Saw this show rated one of the top things to do in Boston here on Tripadvisor so I bought tickets for me and my husband. It felt a little more senior citizen-y than what we were hoping for. It wasn't very interesting in the beginning and I feared this was a mistake, but as soon as the actors started interacting... More

I was hesitant at first however other reviews were good and im very glad we went. This show had me in stitches the whole time. The cast was interactive with the crowd and truly loved their jobs. Highly recommend.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
