Decent Venue

Saw John Waters Christmas here; the venue was intimate and generally comfortable. Not a huge amount of legroom, but such is how things are at places like this.

We went to see the band Kansas and enjoyed the performance enormously. The acoustics were outstanding. The band, as expected, was crazy good. The seats were comfortable. We were slightly surprised that the seats were so strangely arranged, though. There was not enough vertical difference between rows to be able to see over the heads of the people in front... More

We saw the Estampas Portenas Tango Company performance last night. The performance was great, but this venue is terrible. The seats do not have much leg room, which means you have to stand in order to let someone by you. The most annoying thing about this venue is their practice of letting latecomers in who are 10 mins late, 20... More

The Manuel Kaufmann Jazz Orchestra was a real treat consisting of faculty members and other musicians. The tickets were very reasonably priced for the calibre of musicians and venue. I imagine that if the venue is full that the washrooms will be busy as they are not that large. 1215 seats are available fully booked. On this night, the balcony... More

The venue was very good, with great acoustics and comfortable seating. We saw Berklee's performance of Sweeney Todd, which was excellent.

Went to see Paco Pena's Flamenco Dance Company at Berklee. Fantastic music, superb dancing. I've never been disappointed by a performance here. The seats are comfortable, as an added bonus.

The Berklee Performance Center is a good place to see a film or a concert in a very lively part of Boston. We saw the International Internet Cat Video Festival there, and the quirkiness of the subject matter matched the vibe of Berklee. There are many good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance too.

Older and mid sized performance center. Good sound but have heard better. Much like many older venues the seating slope is low. Don't get sat behind a big person or seeing the stage is hard.

This was our first visit. We had seats in the second row of Orchestra 2. The view was pretty good, although I had the tallest women in the room sitting right in front of me. Sound was perfect as you'd expect and we had a thoroughly good evening - Gregory Porter can do that, no matter what the venue, but... More

I was lucky enough to pick up front row seats to see the most talented man on earth, John C. Reilly reprise his role as Dr. Steve Brule. Tim & Eric were there too, I guess... Who am I kidding? These guys were amazing! The Berklee Performance Center was just barely okay. The parking situation was awful, and I thank... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
