Popped in here as I'm a comic and record collector ! Some amazing items, the limited edition coloured vinyls are essential for the collector - loads of classic and new records released in limited quantities on various coloured vinyl pressings - who could want more? Theres also collectors materials such as sleeves etc. Great selection of new comics (although only... More

Stopped in and was surprised at the size of the shop and selection of great memorabilia. The small comics area was overshadowed by everything else but managed to find some cool items that will fit in the suitcase safely for the trip home . Nice staff and decent pricing. Get your comic/movie/tv/music geek on and stop in.

Probably perfect for game playing teenagers but lacking in much of interest for the uninitiated. Possibly one might find a gift for the right young relative, though they may eye you suspiciously

Newbury comic is a comic sitter chain in Boston. This one is quite large but most of the store is not comic. They have LPs, action figures, t shirts etc.

Always a great place to find pop culture items and fun joke gifts as well as music and fashion. There is a lot to see, so take your time and explore every part of the store. The staff is friendly and is happy to look up stuff for you or let you know which of their other stores has the... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
