Setting the scene: It’s underneath a car park. It looks like a dive. The clientele are happily hammered. Yelp marks it as a “dive bar”. HOWEVER, the beer is first rate!! Being British, I groan when I go into many bars in the US. For...More

Basically walked in and the bar staff were congregated in the corner away from the customers and took my order with the minimum of chat. Couldn't work out why they were sniggering and then this young dude started asking me repeatedly stupid questions. I sussed...More

We had the white trash poutine tots which were fabulous. Perfect spot for a beer or several. Yes, it's a little dark, and you have to use cash. Why either if these would be a turn off??? I have no idea. Also, pedi cabs were...More

First, note that they only accept cash. There is a small sign at the entrance, but no mention of it until they bring you the bill. This restaurant is very dark, but not dark enough to hide the fact that my medium-well hamburger was dark...More

Nice little pub with good music and beer selection. Definitely a hole in the wall. Does not take credit card but has an ATM.

I go to Bukowski's at least once a week, sometimes more. The beer selection is awesome...over 160 brews on tap, cask bottle or can. The food is also great! Best grilled hot dogs (and rolls) I've have since the old Montreal Forum. Their staff is...More
