Stayed with a friend who is lucky enough to call Point Loma home. I am jealous, to say the least! Gorgeous views of the city if you know where to look, quaint neighborhoods, and many scenic attractions. Check out the Cabrillo Tide Pools and Sunset Cliffs for sure!

Absolutely killer views of the city along with a very sobering reminder of our service men and women's sacrifices. Wonderful place to come see the sunset out over the Pacific.

Go on a clear day. The visitor's center is wonder. Be sure to see the video on the history. Very nice stop and lovely drive.

What a great 1/2 day excursion, fun for all ages. the light house is very interesting, all the battlements from WWII, and don't miss the whale watching platform at the very end. What an incredible view of the cost line, Coronado Island and up to La Jolla. Best Views from the entire trip. And on the way up stop off... More

The view of the harbor from Point Loma is beautiful! We enjoyed the drive out to the lighthouse and the view. Plus it's near the military burial ground which is very humbling!

This location combines nature, the history of lighthouses, and a beautiful view into one package. There's even a tiny bit of WWII history here, in terms of the military watch. You can also hike or visit the tide pools. Also, on your way out, there are plenty of food and strolling options.

Go see the tidal pools and wander the coast before then going on to see the light house and read about the history of the area.

Really nice sight, go and drink something over there; it is better if you go at the time for suncets. There isn't too much to do.
