Worth the Visit

A pleasant place to wander along the harbour. Some nice shops and we enjoyed our lunch at the Cheesecake Factory which is in the small square.

This was a trolley stop, and so off we got. If you're interested in the Star of India, Harbor Cruises, or the USS Midway, this is your stop. We took a quick look-see and off we went to another location. This is a pretty commercial area, always something to do--real touristy. To us it seemed like this stop was one... More

The park makes for a great walk along the harbor. You can get very close to the yachts and other boats. There are plenty of benches for resting or people watching. The restrooms are a little lacking, but the views make up for them. The trolley stop is in front of the Marriot.

Great place to have that sunset-walk. A nice place to spend time with family and friends. There are nice restaurants and shops located in the area.

We took the trolley downtown and walked to The Fish Market, then wandered the waterfront afterwards. It's only a few blocks walk from both the Sante Fe depot and Seaport Village stations. There are many options of things to do. The U.S.S. Midway is there, along with Seaport Village, harbor cruise rides, street musicians, Anthony's restaurant, the new Carnitas Snack... More

Great place to walk, jog, picnic, sit and relax, or watch the boats and ships pass in the bay. There is usually some major event or activity at the park every weekend, and well worth the time to visit and enjoy

This area has improved since we last stayed in the area. The park area with water spray was added and seems to be very popular. They also had a movie one of the nights. The new buildings for the cruise companies and other businesses are nice. And the new broadway pier was used for the All Star Gala.

The Bayside/Harborside at the Embarcadero is one of the jewels of San Diego. This area, along Harbor Drive, extends from the north, just before the airport and the US Coast Guard Station, to the southern end by the Hilton. It encompasses Waterfront Park, Broadway Pier, Midway, Tuna Harbor Park w Unconditional Surrender statue, Seaport Village, the Embarcadero Marina North &... More
