Sunny afternoon, about 68, few surfers, few people in water. Sandy areas about 1/3 full of sunbathers. Walked north for 2 miles, people watching, including the 2 young Italian gents in their Armani Jeans. Happy vibe given off by all including the beach bikers, skaters, blade specialists, and dog walkers. Fun to talk to people at their (rented ?) homes... More

Went Saturday afternoon. The amusement park is small and really geared towards kids 13 and under. There is one large coaster for adults. Wasn't really impressed by the whole thing.

Great fun walking on the boardwalk , checking out the resturants and shops along the way. Walking in the surf along the beach is always fun.

Mission Beach Boardwalk is an extremely active, busy boardwalk! There are people cycling, roller blading and skate boarding all along the boardwalk. I was constantly turning my head looking out for cyclists, roller blades, etc. I must say Mission Beach Boardwalk is quite lively!

A great place to walk along, from Belmont Park north or south, to watch the surf, walk on the beach, check out the vacation rental homes, etc...

We enjoyed a great breakfast nearby. We then took a brisk walk along the boardwalk. The beach was beautifull. There were talented volleyball players that we enjoyed watching. The parking was challenging but not impossible.

It was beautiful here and there were planet of activities close by. We walked along the beach, played volleyball (there are nets), ate at one of the restaurants, played putt putt at the tiki putt place, and rode bikes. It's usually pretty busy. But not so busy that it's unenjoyable. Parking can be hard to come by!

We had a beach front condo right behind the boardwalk. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, our kids played basketball and volleyball and we had safe and relaxing strolls on the boardwalk.
