This is located on Mission Bay and much easier access than downtown tours. It was a three hour trip (no, not Gilligan's Island). The staff was very friendly and informative, especially the naturalist on board. We saw ten whales and many dolphins, including adorable babies. We did another tour a number of years ago, and preferred this one.

My son and I decided to go out on the half day pm charter yesterday while we were in town. This was an excellent decision. It was a beautiful day, the waters were calm and the boat was not overly crowded. We started at a couple of spots that only turned up a small number of fish for the boat... More

Had a great time, we went rock fishing. As usual with me fishing was great, catching was optional....I had fun.

Went whale watching but only found a couple of hundred dolphin in stead. Got a nice tan and a discount ticket for the next time. They stated the water was too warm to bring the whales in. They did see whales earlier in the day.

We had a great time fishing with our sons. Josh was very helpful. The twilight trip appeared a lot less crowded than the day trips so it was nice. Plus the sunset is spectacular!

This was my first fishing trip in Sunny San Diego. The day was perfect. The swells were not to rough which made it possible for us to catch some rockfish. The half-day trip was a perfect length of time for my first time and the crew were very helpful. Again... this was my first time, so they helped me unhook... More

The Seaforth boats are among the best in the fleet, with excellent captains and crew. Highly recommend them for 1/2, 3/4, and full day fishing trips

We enjoyed our whale watching adventure; our three hours flew by. We were fortunate: the day was beautiful, we saw three species of dolphins and a blue whale - just lucky! The naturalists were friendly, enthusiastic and happy to share their knowledge. They were organized, which is a plus! We look forward to going again during our next visit to... More

We saw a couple of whales, lots of dolphins. It was a little bumpy so I got a bit seasick, but all in all: great day!
