Would recommend coming here for a tasting and shopping. Lot of fun! You pay for your tasting and receive a ticket, which they tear off for each wine you taste. Then you wonder off to the stores, glass in hand. Stop at the sweet shop for a complimentary chocolate that goes with your wine. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar... More

Started the day wine tasting with Loyd. He was a great guy and very knowledgeable about San Diego wines. Went to Cafe Merlot for lunch. Delicious pasta! Shopped at Linda's boutique and found some really fun outfits. Amazing day while my husband was at a conference. Thanks Bernardo Winery!

Stopped in here as part of a local DIY winery tour. The area is very unique, located in the middle of what seems like a residential area, but tucked back in a way that makes it seem like another world. The whole place has what I call the “old west cliché” look – lots of old wood and dark rooms... More

Was excited to put this place on my list. The area of nice with interesting shops, and a very nice restaurant. Was disappointed in the wine though.

This visit was our second visit, We enjoy the wine tasting, of course. My wife and I got a glass of wine got a cheese, meat and cracker snack and enjoyed it outside. There are several shops there, including a flower shop. The grounds there are several acres were one can walk around.

Think rustic/country buildings, some truly vintage, some made to look the part. Now, belly up for your wine tasting and learn that you can walk around this cute village, wine in hand, and amble into the sweet shop and get a chocolate tasting/pairing to go with your wine - you can do this each time you taste! Nice little cafe... More

In Northern San Diego, this historic Winery offers wonderful wines and tastings plus a range of nice shops and food outlets. Set in an old restored village, the Winery leads the way for an enjoyable visit. Plus the Rancho Bernardo Museum tells the tales of the area's historical significance.

Southern California's oldest winemaker, set in middle of affluent suburbia. Lots of memorabilia on display, great place to hang out and enjoy some good wine and fingerfoods

This little "stay-cation" destination is a joy! It is located in a neighborhood that has grown around the winery. The winery is a rustic little village with galleries, resteraunts, historical museum and much more. The Icarus Gallery/Studio is a happy place to create as well as purchas art. It is one of the few locations that offers Meditation Rocks by... More

The wines are great and the staff make you feel welcome. So much more than just a winery. Clothes, handmade crafts and music on Sunday afternoon make this a must see in San Diego County.
